Reviews and Ratings
I recently stayed at the Grand Superior Lodge, and while there were definitely highlights like the cozy room and stunning views of Lake Superior, I encountered a few issues that somewhat dampened the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the location was great for exploring the North Shore. However, the dining experience could use some improvement, and the rooms had minor issues with comfort and cleanliness that need attention.
We had a fantastic stay at the resort with its stunning views of Lake Superior and close proximity to snowmobile trails. Our room was spacious and cozy, and we really appreciated the large hot tub and variety of amenities available. The service was exceptional, especially from Adam, who really went the extra mile for us. However, our dining experience at the grill left a lot to be desired, highlighting a need for improvements in that area.
My stay at the lodge was overall a mixed experience. While the front desk team, particularly Amy Sue and Matt, made us feel welcome and addressed our needs, the room we booked was not up to par. It had a funny smell and lacked some basic amenities, which was disappointing considering our past positive experiences. The location by the lake is stunning, but the overall value for the price I paid was lacking.
We had an incredibly relaxing stay with stunning views of the lake and cozy amenities that made us feel right at home. The staff was delightful and engaging, making our anniversary trip even more special. However, not all rooms lived up to our expectations, as we experienced inconsistencies in cleanliness and amenities, which detracted from the overall value. Still, the location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, making it a great base for exploring.
Our family had a fun-filled stay at the Grand Lodge, which offered great activities for kids and a clean, comfortable room. The conveniently located pool was a highlight, but there were some maintenance issues to consider. Dining was a bit pricy for the quality, making it a factor to plan around for future visits. Overall, we would definitely consider returning with more food supplies on hand.
